Both the Italian and the Spaniard have been declared fit to take to the track at Misano following medical checks, although Petrucci will be checked again after FP1

Following extensive medical checks and assessments, both Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Ducati) and Iker Lecuona (Team HRC) have been passed fit to ride at Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”. Petrucci, who suffered an accident whilst participating in Motocross training prior to the Assen Round, has been slowly recovering, and has now been passed fit, at least to participate in FP1 on Friday morning. Team HRC’s Lecuona suffered injuries to his right knee following an FP3 crash at Assen.

Lecuona has now been passed fit to participate in Round 4 of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, whilst Italian Petrucci will be reassessed after the FP1 session on Friday to see if he can continue throughout the weekend,
