WHAT CAN BE WON AT JEREZ? Razgatlioglu vs Bulega in WorldSBK, title in WorldSSP300 for grabs
The final day of the 2025 campaign will have several titles decided, but how can they be won?
The Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto, Andalucia hosts the season-ending Pirelli Spanish Round of the 2025 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship. There’s still plenty up for grabs still on the final day of the season, including WorldSBK. Check out the permutations below.
BIG ADVANTAGE TO RAZGATLIOGLU: Will he wrap it up in Race 2 at Jerez?
After the incredible Tissot Superpole Race drama, the title went down to Race 2. Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) has a 22-point advantage over Nicolo Bulega, and he will be Champion if he scores three points or more; a 13th-place finish will give him the title, regardless of Bulega’s result. For Bulega to take the crown, he will need to win and hope Razgatlioglu finishes 14th or worse.
TEAMS’ CHAMPIONSHIP IN WORLD SUPERSPORT: Evan Bros. Yamaha with a chance in Race 2
The Teams’ Championship in WorldSSP is up for grabs, although it’s a big advantage for Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team. They lead Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing by 42 points with 45 available on Sunday, meaning they will win the title if they lose 41 points or fewer to the Ten Kate Racing duo (any tiebreak goes in the Dutch team’s favour). In contrast, they will win the crown if they can overturn that 42-point deficit: the only way they can do this is with a 1-2.
THREE-RIDER SCRAP IN WORLD SUPERSPORT 300: Who will be crowned Champion?
In WorldSSP300, four riders can still win the title on Sunday. It’s advantage Benat Fernandez (Team#109 Retro Traffic Kove), who has a three-point lead over both Carter Thompson (MTM Kawasaki) and David Salvador (Team ProDina XCI), while Matteo Vannucci (PATA AG Motorsport Italia WorldSSP300) is 22 points back.
Fernandez will win the title if he finishes ahead of both Thompson and Salvador. Thompson will need to beat Salvador and outscore Fernandez by three points to win the title – he would win on countback, by three wins to two. Salvador will need to beat Thompson and outscore by Fernandez by four points; Fernandez would win the tiebreaker against the #38. For Vannucci to overturn his 22-point deficit, he will need to win the race, and all three riders score a maximum of three points; he would have the tiebreaker advantage against all three riders, as he would have four victories in this scenario.
